While many tweener frames can be harsh and uncomfortable, Volkl built the V1 with their Dual Dampening Grip. The technology places a rubber-like thermoplastic inside the racquet handle to create a dampened, plush feel, without removing the feel for the ball. After all these years, the V1 Classic is still a unique offering on the racquet market which can work wonders for beginners, intermediates, and advanced players.
